We at aloeVR respect your privacy — both in the real world and inside the headset. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you use our VR experiences, website, apps, and services, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe.

Information We Collect

Account & Profile Data: name, email, date of birth, payment info (processed via secure third-party providers)
VR Sensor & Biometric Data:
- Head and hand tracking positions
- Height, IPD (interpupillary distance), and arm length
- Eye-tracking data (if enabled on supported headsets
- Body movement patterns and gait (anonymized)
- Heart rate or skin response if connected via compatible wearables
Gameplay & Behavior Data: session duration, games played, scores, in-game actions, chat logs
Device & Technical Data: headset model, IP address, browser type, operating system, crash reports
Location Data: approximate location from IP, only if you visit our physical VR arcade

Important: We never sell your personal data or VR biometric data to third parties for advertising purposes.

Provide and improve the VR experience (e.g., auto-adjusting IPD)

Detect cheating and ensure fair play

Cloud hosting & analytics providers (e.g., AWS, Unity Analytics – all GDPR/CCPA compliant)

Data Retention

We keep gameplay and sensor data for 24 months for improvement and anti-cheat purposes.
You can request permanent deletion at any time (see section 7).
